    I purchased my glasses for $600 four months ago. About a month ago I noticed that they were clouding up a little. Then it started to spread and I could not remove the spots. I took them back and they told me I must have gotten hair spray or some chemical on them. I told her I do not use hair spray and no other chemical has come in contact with them.     Initially we selected a pair of frames for my son at Lenscrafters at Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs . The lab at the store said the lenses would work in the frames, but they would have to send them out. The store called back a few days later saying they wouldn't work after all.     I had a pair of sunglass lenses put in by Lenscrafters (in Braintree, MA) less than 8 months ago. Recently, I have noticed that their very expensive and "high-tech" coating (which they always market) was already bubbling in a few places.     I should have read the reviews prior to booking an appointment. Still I didn't learn from them overcharging me from last year, that was partly due to my not so great insurance coverage. I've been wearing corrective lenses for decades. This would be my second visit to this office, I was in need of new glasses and my old prescription expired, so I dropped in on my lunch break.   • Damaged Ray Ban Temple Pieces



    My Ray Ban temple pieces were damaged when I got them adjusted in Florida and they were purchased at a Lenscrafters in Columbus. I was hoping to get them adjusted again when I came back to Cincinnati for the summer. The LensCrafters on Fields Ertal went above and beyond when I asked for their help. Frank, the manager, made sure I received replacement temple pieces for free due to the accidental damage created by a different Lenscrafters.   • Still no sunglasses!



    I ordered my prescription sunglasses on March 12th 2014 and was told the lens would take a maximum of 10 business days to come in. I received a phone call 4 days ago to tell me they are still waiting for them to come in (and that it could take up to a maximum of 14 business days).   • Worst quality of lens - DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!!



    I made a pair of normal glasses less than two years ago at the Florida Sarasota Square mall shop paying $329.     I would STRONGLY recommend not to buy at "Lenscrafters" Because they have this shady business practices - they mark all their lenses at twice the regular price. Then they give you 50% OFF on lenses if you buy the frames from them. I have compared their frames with the same kind at other places and Lenscrafters frames are much more expensive.     I ordered a prescription sunglass on April 12, 2013 and was provided estimated delivery date of April 22, 2013. On April 23 my wife told that she got a call that it has come.     Took broken glasses in and they couldn't repair. I ordered new ones and paid when ordered, told it would be ready in 10 days.     Purchased a pair of glasses from LensCrafters back in March of this year 2013. They told me it would be 7 to 10 days standard time for my type of prescription and lenses that I needed I was okay with that.     After not being able to find the frames I wanted, I ordered a pair and took it to Lenscrafters to have them install lenses. They quoted me a price of over $400! Walmart had quoted $125, but it involved a 10 day wait. When I asked why the huge price difference, the store manager very dismissively told me it was an issue of quality. I went into the Lens Crafters store in the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack NY in February 2013 to get an eye exam and purchased a new pair of glasses at the sum of $789.00. I have been back to the store 10 times because I can not see out of these glasses. So yesterday they decided to have the eye Dr. check my eyes and my script was totally incorrect. So now they do all the measuring once again and make me a pair of loaner glasses due to the fact that I am going out of town for a week. I am sitting at work and still can not see....so I call Lens Crafters back today and they tell me to come back in ....3 months of this nonsense and when I ask for my money back they ignore me. I think it is time to contact Chanel 2 news and consumer protection!

On September 9, 2012 (today), I went to the LensCrafters store in the mall in Clarksville, TN. I have been a customer for the last 3 years at this location, and I have been a LensCrafters/Pearl Vision Customer for over 20 years, so needless to say, my loyalty has been to this franchise. However, I had the worst experience today and this local store has lost my business FOREVER!!! We went in to have my son's frames adjusted. There were 3 assoicates in the store and 4 customers. After we entered, several more customers came in and for service. The youngest associate helped a gentleman find glasses for his son and then dissappeared. The other two associates spent their time both working with the same customer. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I went to the oldest of the associates and asked if one of them could adjust my son's glasses (since one was standing and making faces with a customers baby-not at all involved in the transaction). She replied, "I'll get to you, but we have to help who was in here first." I stated, "I understand, but I did not realize that it took two associates to help one customer." She snidely replied, "Well, it does!" I went back to sit and wait and within a few minutes I realized that I spend over $800 a year with this business and I will not be treated like an idiot. I have NEVER had need of two associates to work on fitting my glasses and do not see how anyone can justify that when you have a room full of customers waiting to be served. Some of whom were not even acknowledged when they walked in. I don't know if this is just the culture of the new management or if this is just the poor customer service tactics of the associate in charge that day. What I do know is that I will NOT spend another penny in this store. I'd rather drive to Nashville and be treated with respect than be treated like I was today. Shame on LensCrafters!!!!!

on february 4 i went to your store with a coupon to purchase new glasses for 249.95. i had my eyes tested went to pick out frames & one of your sales associates said the coupon was only good on basic lenses without even reading it.i asked for a price on exactly what was on the coupon that price came to 450.00. if this is not a bait & switch sales tactic i don't know what is. but i've learned i have switched eye glass providers. i've also informed all friends & relatives of this experience & not to use your co.

im an employee at lenscrafters. a place that was built on quality but now because of hours being cut instead on three inspections. u get one inspection and its usually by someone who just started and is not properly trained. do not buy glasses at lenscrafters!!!!!

I purchased a pair of glasses and the help I received was marvelous. I returned to buy a case for aviator style sunglasses and a different person helped me with the same marverlous care and courtesy. I couldn't believe how wonderful my experiences were at Lenscrafters. I had never done business there before...but I will now continue to deal with them! This is the Appleton, WI location.

Lenscrafters at Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque, NM: My husband ordered glasses 3 weeks ago which never came in. Whenever we called to inquire about them, we were told "Oh, they sent two left lenses, they sent the wrong lenses", and on and on. So, today we went to get our money back. We went into the store and politely asked to speak to a manager. A woman wearing a supervisor badge, said I am the manager on site and will help you in a moment. From her tone of voice, the look she gave us and her demeanor, right and then and there we knew that things probably were not going to go well. She did wait on us. She offered no apology or explanation for the poor service. Instead, in her attempt to come off as "authoritative and IN CHARGE, she came off as rude, uneducated about proper customer service and down right snotty.

It did come to mind that perhaps this woman's I am superior to you, haughty demeanor was an attempt to cover up some shortcomings such as maybe she just isn't "supervisor" material at all, and maybe she should not be employed in the customer service sector.
